Coenzyme Q-10 is a naturally occurring co-factor involved in the production of energy at the cellular level. Coenzyme Q-10 is also referred to as Ubiquinone from the word “ubiquitous” because it is found in all cells of the body. It is a member of the quinone family which is related to Vitamin K.
